Yellow Class Descriptions

Art (Arts)

In this class the students will learn basic art skill and complete simple projects in several different mediums. All supplies will be provided and kept at co-op. This is a fun introductory class into art!

Music (Arts)

Teacher: Laura VanBuhler

Come join me in praising the Lord by learning new things! In this class, we will be working together to learn how to read music and sing together in a group using fun games and activities to help us learn our notes and rhythms. We will work on a song each semester and then perform them for our friends and families at the Spring and Christmas concerts.

Dance (Arts)

Teacher: Bethany Riegsecker

Students will worship the Lord through dance! We will experience many styles of dance as we move to Christian music, having fun together and performing at each of our two CLAE concerts.

Theater (Arts)

Teacher: Caris Croy

Come one, Come all! Grades 1-3 are welcome to join us as we learn to work together and create theatre. We will be creating stories, playing theatre games, learning some terms and etiquette, and MOVING! Bring some tennis shoes and easy-to-move-in clothing, a Good Attitude and a small notebook and pencil.

There will be a showcase at the end of the Semester for parents to see what we're working on!

Science (Ed) $40

Creation Series Science

Teacher: Barb Galbraith

Weekly printing is required. There may be activities the book asks you to complete at home because of the small time frame we have to work with in class. Work completed at home needs to be brought back the next week. Our students will be excited to study creation based upon the six-day account described in the book of Genesis. I have many classroom hands-on activities planned, this will help with the learning comprehension of each creation day.

Send these required items inside an art box each week:

-Three PENCILS sharpened ready to use

-1 eraser

-16 count real Crayons

-One pair of scissors

-2 glue sticks (not bottle)

-One ruler.

-Regular size notebook paper for pop quizzes and notes.
